Travel to Teach Thailand Personnel
Travel to Teach works with local staff, mainly students who
finance their studies by working part time for us. To ensure the quality
of our programs we have both a Thai and a "farang" coordinator in most
places where we work.
Nongkhai
Jim
Jim graduated from Khon Kaen University's tourism program in 2007 and initially completed
a 3 month internship with Travel to Teach before joining us permanently. After working with us in Chiang Mai
for 2 years Jim now looks after our volunteers in Nongkhai and gives Thai cooking and language lessons.

Prig
Prig 26, is currently studying international business at Khon Kaen
University. Prig takes our Thai cooking classes, looks after our
volunteers and has helped to run our restoration projects around
Nongkhai.

Namsom
Mooy
A former student at
FGCC, Mooy
studies Economics and administration at open University. Mooy is our
Projects Manager and is responsible for contact with schools, setting up
English camps, restoration camps etc. She also helps to look after the
volunteers in Nongkhai.

Chiang Mai
Dennis
Dennis from Stockholm, Sweden was originally a volunteer in Nongkhai. He worked as an engineer/architect
in Sweden before moving to Thailand last year where he looks after our volunteer programs in Chiang Mai.
Dennis loves to see and experience new countries and in his spare time enjoys lot´s of sports, reading,
listening to music, fishing and diving.

Phon Phisai
Jack
Having graduated from Universtiy in Bangkok Jack has returned to his
native village of Ban Thin Dung, Phon Phisai. Another former
FGCC student Jack's English is excellent and he
looks after our Phon Phisai volunteers. Jack has also developed his own
program in "Isan-Survivors" taking people into the forests and on the
rivers of Isan.

Sri Chiang Mai
Dave
Dave was a volunteer with T2T programs two years ago and decided to stay
on teaching in Thailand. Dave is an extremely gifted and dedicated
teacher and will do everything he can to help our volunteers.

Head Office
Kerstin
Kerstin was a Swedish consultant who left behind a long career in Swedish local and regional agencies to set up and
manage Travel-to-Teach. She operates from a house in the center of Nongkhai, Thailand.
Kerstin's essays, written in Swedish, are syndicated to magazines on Scandinavian airlines destined for BKK.

Renee
Renee initially came to Thailand to volunteer at the start of this year before becoming our new International Program
Manager. She now organizes all international placements and combination stays for our volunteers and helps with any
problems the volunteers may have.

David
David is a Computer Science graduate from the UK and former Phon Phisai volunteer runs the Travel to Teach website. He also
built the database and office systems we use for our application procedure and the day to day running of our programs.
Although now working in Costa Rica David still manages our website.

Out of Country Staff
Charlotte
Charlotte, a Media and Communications major from England, joined T2T in 2005 and worked as our business development
manager in Nongkhai. She has now returned to England where she will continue to help with marketing Travel to Teach.

Darcy
Darcy Tucker is our USA Representative. She has extensive experience traveling throughout South East Asia as well as
Europe, South America, Central America and the USA. She has lived/worked/studied/traveled in over 25 countries. Based in
New York City, she currently works as a project manager for the non-profit group New Leaders for New Schools. Darcy
comes from a family of many educators, has worked in for-profit and non-profit contexts and has taught English overseas.
In her free time she enjoys planning her next holiday, scuba diving, reading, cooking and dancing to 80's music.
