Volunteer Kenya | TsavoWe are no longer sending volunteers to this location. Instead we will be concentrating on our Asia and Central America projects. For more information about these please take a look at our Asia and Central America project pages.

Set on the outskirts of the Tsavo National Park our Voi project offers you the incredibly opportuinity to work and live in a wildlife sanctury. Perfect for anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of wildlife. Volunteers will be assisting the park rangers and supporting the ongoing intiative to raise conservation awarness.
Volunteers choosing to go to Kenya will also have the oppotunity to stay with homestay families and teach English in village schools.
Volunteers on our conservation project will live in tents within the sanctuary. Daily activities will include de-snaring, bush patrols, guiding tourists around the park.
Additional activities will include contributing to the ongoing human - wildlife conflict research, community outreach and school visits. All activites are focused on increasing awarness of the importance of conservation.

Volunteers living with our homestay families will be able to teach in rural schools. You will be placed in the local village school which is typically at the heart of the community. Many of the schools only have rudimentary supplies so you will be expected to use your creativity and imagination to provide fun and interesting lessons.

Volunteers should purchase insurance independently and bring a copy of their insurance certificate with them for their local co-ordinator to check before starting their program.
