Travel to Teach: Galapagos Personnel

Lucy first visited Galapagos in 2003 on a 3 month career break, however three months wasn't long enough for her and she decided not to return to her marketing career and studied for a teaching english certificate so that she could go back out to South America. She had fallen in love with Galapagos and found a job teaching english in the local university and a year later was running their study abroad programme. Lucy lived in San Cristobal for 3 years and travels there regularly from Scotland with her young son to see family and friends. She's also looking into local projects for offsetting the carbon footprint for travel to the Galapagos.
