English Teaching

Where in the World can I teach?

"I have the strong belief that the best help one can give a country or a person is education."

Kerstin Ahlzen, Founder of Travel to Teach.

This belief has been at the core of Travel to Teach since its conception in 2002. Our English teaching volunteer programmes have been received with huge enthusiasm from our local partners and we are continually being approached by schools and communities wanting to collaborate with us.

Teaching English as a foreign language is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences we can offer our volunteers. For this reason English teaching remains our most popular programme.

Travel to Teach can offer you the opportunity to teach English to students at Primary, Secondary, or College level in over ten developing countries around the globe.

At our volunteer programs in Thailand you can teach English grammar and conversational English to Buddhist monks in either a full-time program whilst staying in a Buddhist monastery, or part-time whilst teaching Thai primary school students in Nongkhai.

In Santa Tecla in El Salvador and Mae Hong Son in Thailand can also offer you opportunity to teach orphans helping them with their English homework in an informal teaching environment.
