Considering a career break?

You’re in good company! Many people take career breaks and 38% of our volunteers are over the age of 25. As the employment market has evolved taking a break in career is no longer seen as a negative with many employers now actively encourage their employees to a sabbatical.

Whatever your reasons for taking a career break, volunteering will give you a purpose to your travels, allow you to explore places off the beaten track and let you to live among the communities you are helping.

What can you do?

Travel to Teach are specialists in teaching placements however, we also offer some placements in the fields of medicine, IT, animal welfare and women’s groups. Take a look at our projects pages to see what you can get involved in while travelling abroad. If you have the desire to teach English to underprivileged children in developing countries, experience a new culture, help save endangered species or learn a new language then we have a project for you!
